Central Kitchen Foods is Hiring a Production Worker Near Baton Rouge, LA

*GENERAL HOURS FOR THIS POSITION: 3 AM - 10 AM, Mon-Fri*

mostly Mon-Fri schedule with some weekend availability and overtime possible, paid at the time-and-one-half rate

The Production Cook is responsible for the production of dough, recipe adherence, portion control standards, and presentation of items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned): Responsible for production cooking of pizza dough for packaging and distribution to various pizza restaurants. Must adhere to standards for preparation, portioning, cooking, and presentation of all production items.

Ensure excellent quality of food and proper presentation. Responsible for portion control, adherence of recipes, and timeliness of all food products. Uphold cleanliness standards for kitchen operations, kitchen equipment, and kitchen tools.

Uphold safe and sanitary work environment. Duties may differ by work location. Performs other job duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE: 1 year of related experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and balancing. Must be able to move up to 50 lbs. Frequent exposure to moderate cold temperatures (50-60 F).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
