New position!
The Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Co-Responder Case Manager will work in tandem with Central Kansas Mental Health Center’s Crisis Team and Salina Police Department, which is also where it will be housed. We are looking for someone who can provide immediate assessments, crisis resolution and de-escalation, complex intervention plans for safety, and referrals to appropriate community services to keep individuals in the least restrictive environment.
The CIT co-responder’s role aids in decreasing admissions to jail, emergency departments, and inpatient psychiatric units. This position will work with Saline County Sheriff’s Office and Salina Police Department staff to provide community based interventions on the scene with law enforcement officers. We are looking for someone who can work with people of various socio-economic backgrounds, strong organization skills, effectively work with community partners, and complete documentation timely. This positions requires the candidate to have a Bachelors degree or relevant years of experience in the Human Services field. CIT Co-Responder CM will not have a traditional schedule and could vary based on need.
This is a full-time benefit eligible position.
