Central Illinois Urgent Care is Hiring a Full Time Medical Receptionist Near Forsyth, IL

Central Illinois Urgent Care is one of 4 independently owned urgent care clinics in Central Illinois. Our goal is to provide high quality care in a cost effective manner to the communities we serve. We provide compassionate care in a comfortable environment.c

Be a part of Forsyth's First Independent Urgent Care clinic. Hours of operations: Monday through Friday 8 am to 8 pm. Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm. Schedules are on a rotation through the week and every other weekend.

Central Illinois Urgent Care is looking to hire an experienced medical receptionist.

Job Purpose: Serves patients by greeting and helping them; scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts, entering demographic data and insurance data into computer; collect copayments and balances dues.

Duties: Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

Entering demographics and insurance data into patient management system.

Verification of insurances and collection of copayments.

Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.

Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.

Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.

Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs.

Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.

Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.

Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
