Central Georgia Urology is Hiring a Front Office Patient Coordinator and Medical Assistant Near Warner, GA

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front Office Patient Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and experience working in a physician office environment.

Duties:
- Manage the front desk operations, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments
- Coordinate patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care
- Manage insurance verification and billing processes
- Train and supervise front office staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed
- Handle any issues or complaints from patients in a professional manner

-Coverage for Medical Assistant as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a physician's office or medical setting is required
- Proficiency in medical office software such as Allscripts or Urochart is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Must have Medical Assistant Certification
