JOB SUMMARY

The provider will take nighttime call 6p-8a, 7 nights on 7 nights off via phone only. MUST LIVE IN FLORIDA

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

1. Adhere to proper charting protocols
2. Discuss with Physician and other health care professionals to prepare comprehensive plan
3. Order or execute tests or images as needed
4. Analyze results of tests, diagnose and report to patient
5. Prescribe medications
6. Report deaths and contagious diseases to governmental authorities
7. Other responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Must have and maintain current State of Florida license in good standing
2. Current National Board Certification
3. Current DEA 
4. Post Acute experience
5. 1 year Post Acute experience preferred 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

1. Effective written, verbal and electronic communication skills
2. Show initiative, creativity and problem-solving ability
3. Ability to collaborate with colleagues to provide quality healthcare

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Prior experience using an electronic medical records system
2. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)

RELATIONSHIP REPORTING

Reports to the Supervisory Physician / Post-Acute Executive Director

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to communicate effectively with patients

3. Ability to use a computer, printer and scanner
4. Ability to sit, stand or view a computer screen for extended periods of time
5. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions for extended periods of time
6. Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
7. Ability to reach with hands and arms
