Central Florida Communities is Hiring a Dietician Near Winter Park, FL

About the Company:

Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties.

CFC operates three 64-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD's), Howell Branch Court, Lake View Court and Washington Square. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.

Purpose:

Plan and provide nutritional guidance that includes considerations of resident particular needs. Manages the nutritional care of all residents to including screening, assessment, intervention and education as directed.

Essential Duties:

Collects, analyzes and summarizes relevant data from resident’s medical record, including: physician orders, lab values, appetite, diet orders, nutrition history, medications and medical concerns to develop individualized nutrition plan.

Completes annual nutritional assessments and/or reassessments, addressing any new or previously identified nutrition-related problems. Attends support plan and Interdisciplinary Team meetings.

Communicates changes and additions in nourishment provision, food allergies and food preferences to Food Service manager, dietary staff, nursing, OT, SLP, CSS and any other team members as needed.

Act as a resource/counselor for budgeting, dietary employee evaluations, scheduling, production planning, recipe development and menu planning, as needed.

Required Qualification:

Registered/ Licensed dietitian in State of Florida with a minimum of 5 year's experience working with developmentally disabled adults or individuals with special needs.

Must have experience with individuals that have enteral nutrition requirement, swallowing and/ or chewing challenges and behavioral eating disorders.

Travel with Central Florida area required.

Must have experience using EMR System, Word, Excel and Email.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

Salary - $80.000
