The maintenance staff is expected to perform any reasonable task to keep camp buildings and grounds a safe and clean environment for staff and campers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Preparing buildings to the specified checklists.
• Cutting and splitting firewood.
• Painting.
• Grounds keeping and landscaping.
• Following established procedures for enforcing all safety regulations.
• Vehicle and small engine maintenance.
• Cleaning of camp areas.
• Demonstrate and teach the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility to all campers and staff.
• Follow all camp rules and regulations and enforce them among peers.
• Maintain positive public relations with parents, visitors, and the general public at all times.
• Submit all required paperwork on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School senior or equivalent and at least 16 years old
• Desire and ability to work with maintenance in an outdoor environment
• Good role model, high integrity, and adaptable
• Reliable maintenance skills and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to repair buildings to a certain extent while using equipment safely
• Ability to clean and maintain an outdoor environment
• Ability to work on a team
