Summary: | The bilingual teacher will provide guidance and instructional experiences that are academically and developmentally appropriate for each student assigned to that classroom in a safe and welcoming learning environment and teach designated material in two languages. The Dual Language teacher will be responsible for creating a dual-language immersion classroom environment that ensures learning and personal growth of every student, establishing effective rapport with students and motivating students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for future academic studies. Dual Language teachers will provide standards-based instruction in Dine/Spanish in all content areas and will provide grades for each content area utilizing the 90/10 model of instruction. |
