Central Coast Retina is a small Retina clinic with two locations. We are looking for an organized multitasker as well as a compassionate and cheerful candidate who has existing front desk knowledge.
Medical Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the medical facility
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify patient information and update their records as necessary
- Collect co-pays and payments for services rendered
- Assist with insurance verification and claims processing
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Communicate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to patients while ensuring the smooth operation of the medical facility. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks will contribute to the overall efficiency of the clinic.
This position is available in Pismo Beach and Santa Maria.
