CENTRAL CALIFORNIA BLOOD CENTER is Hiring a Client Services Representative Near Fresno, CA

FLSA Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Friday - Monday, 3am to 1:30pm (5% shift differential for hours worked between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am)
Hours: -35 hours per week
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Location: Jenny Eller Donor Center, Fresno, CA
Reports To: Manager of Client Services
Important: CCBC has a mandatory vaccination policy and will only consider applicants that are fully vaccinated (booster not required) for COVID-19. All candidates being considered for an open position will be required to show proof of vaccination status.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Client Services Representative, focused on ensuring the efficient and courteous delivery of blood and blood products to our hospital partners across the Central California Blood Center service area. In addition to transportation responsibilities, this role places a strong emphasis on providing exceptional customer service to all external and internal clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sales and/or service, alongside a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Handles incoming client calls efficiently with excellent phone etiquette and professionalism.
  • Fulfill orders and transport blood products to hospital partners.
  • Pickup and delivery of blood product orders, specimens, equipment, supplies to facilities across Fresno, Mariposa, Merced, Kings, and Tulare counties.
  • Direct client complaints or questions to relevant departments promptly.
  • Escalate significant issues to management for resolution.
  • Cultivate positive client relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records and document processes effectively.
  • Identify potential client service issues and implement proactive intervention measures.
  • Manage blood inventory efficiently, including importing blood products from other facilities.
  • Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations, including blood handling process.
  • Immediately report any compliance issues to department management.
  • Monitor and maintain Client Services equipment and vehicles, updating records and charts as necessary.
  • Perform data quality control checks on storage equipment and shipping procedures.
  • Performs corrective action for unscheduled storage alarms and documentation of equipment maintenance, as needed.
  • Attend all 1:1 and department meetings as scheduled.
  • Regular attendance and promptness are essential functions of this position.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
•High school diploma or GED.
•Previous experience in customer service or a related field preferred
•Must demonstrate courteous and professional phone and written communication skills,
•Excellent ability in providing professional, efficient, and friendly service.
•Must be self-motivated and a team player
•Ability to coordinate with other departments on client-related matters.
•Strong interpersonal and recordkeeping skills.
•Valid driver's license with good driving record and be insurable by CCBC carrier at all times.
•Willingness to accept additional hours where necessary to meet operational needs.
•Physically able to lift and carry 50 lb
•Prior computer skills using Microsoft Office (primarily MS Word and Outlook)
Working conditions:
•Must be able to work in (-15 to 40 deg F) for the purpose of product storage, inventory, filling orders and routine maintenance checks.
