Responsibilities:
An ideal candidate is an experienced front-end developer with a background in delivering complex enterprise projects using React.
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for design, implementation, quality, and deployment, and quality of the deliveries
- Make technical and design decisions for front end React projects
- Work on user interfaces using React
- Write JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Write unit and end-to-end tests and perform code reviews
- Interface with multiple local and remote business and technical teams to sort out integrations and clarify requirements
- Work closely with the design team
- Conduct performance tests, ensure the high performance of applications, and provide support
- Have experience with agile development methodology and participate in daily scrums and sprint planning
- Has a firm grasp of web development fundamentals and web technologies
- Has solid experience in working on enterprise systems
- 5 years of front-end experience developing web applications
- 5 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- 5 years of recent experience with React
- Some Java development experience
- Has Financial Services experience. Brokerage experience is a nice to have.
- Has experience developing unit tests and test-driven development
- Likely has a university or college degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
