Position Role/Tile: QA Engineer
Location:  Austin, TX.

Job Description:

· Hands on experience with Android testing

· Working knowledge of Android Studio and adb commands

· Unix/Linux skills

· Ability to multitask, prioritize work and change focus quickly when required

· Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Proficiency in Google docs

Test execution and status reporting

· Perform functional, ad-hoc, UI, and regression testing on Android platforms

· Manually test new features, exploratory testing

· Android app testing on embedded device.

· Test plan and test cases creation and review.

· Write detailed QA status report to teams

· Capture test logs and analyze data from logging tools

· Understand and verify logs from prerelease and production builds

· Use logging tools to perform analysis of logs

· Attend objectives and key results meetings with developers and PM to coordinate specific guidelines for the new releases

Defect management

· Write detailed descriptive bugs with understanding of different environments

· Coordinate, collaborate and troubleshoot issues with developers, PMs and engineers

Test case management

· Write new test cases based on new features and keep a running doc of all new features for releases

· Should be able to implement a comprehensive test plan/test cases

· Write test docs based on test tools
