Central Business Solutions is Hiring an Information Architect Near Santa Monica, CA
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in information systems, information architecture, computer science, or a similar major is required.
- 5 years of related experience is IT, with at least two years in information system design.
- In-depth experience of designing and implementing information solutions.
- Meeting with relevant stakeholders to determine project requirements and develop as well as document data models to satisfy those requirements.
- Participate actively in infrastructure and application design, focusing on scalability considerations especially around data storage and access.
- Review data(base) changes from engineering teams and recommend query/schema changes to optimize the performance of queries.
- Identifying key areas of enhancement and improvement in information architecture designs.
- Formulating prospective informational designs and templates for further development.
- Data-modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level.
- Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models.
- Familiarity with MDM, BI, and data warehouse design and implementation techniques.
- Designing prototypes for informational architecture flows and experiences.
- Developing draft information architectures for final products to be used by the company.
- Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design, and programming techniques.
- Enhancing existing information architectures to be more interactive and digitally friendly.
- Working with other members of the creative team on UX and UI design tasks.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, including the ability to create messaging materials that meet stakeholder preferences.
