Secondary Academy , Tues, Wed, Thurs 7 : 30 am to 11 : 30 am DESCRIPTION : Positions available for Special Education Teachers for the Extended School Year Program.
Teachers are responsible for planning and implementing instruction for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, for Significant Learning Support needs.
Life Skills, Autistic Support and Multiple Disability student classrooms are available.
Seeking teachers with background in behavioral supports, applied behavior analysis, activities of daily living, including toileting, and differentiated instructional techniques.
Utilization of crisis prevention techniques / strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP.
Training will be provided via CBSD. REQUIREMENTS : PA teaching certification required. PROCEDURE :
