Every night in downtown Phoenix, 365 days a year - CASS, the largest homeless emergency shelter in the state, provides shelter for up to 470 adults experiencing homelessness. In a neighborhood across town, you'll find a second shelter, a small enclave of 30 apartments - a shelter for families who were on the streets before coming to CASS for help. Shelter is where our support begins, but CASS provides more than just a place to sleep. Our model is effective because we provide wrap-around case management and supportive services to stabilize our clients, help them find sustainable income and move... them into permanent housing. This is what we do.
