Responsibilities


Position Summary:

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Coordinates, plans, documents, organizes and conducts training programs for CAPS pharmacy to ensure consistency and compliance with training initiatives, programs and processes within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Administers and revises training plans for employees.
  • Works with Supervisor to ensure training data is current and accurate in training systems.
  • Generates, reviews and distributes training reports to help identify gaps in employees training requirements.
  • Coordinates the distribution, and completion of departmental procedure learning event documentation and procedure revision.
  • Assists in the design and development of competency measurement tools
  • Schedules training, rooms, supplies, and other necessities to successfully run the training program.
Senior levels responsbilities may also include:
  • Generates, reviews and distributes training reports to help identify gaps in employees training requirements.
  • Coordinates completion of departmental procedure learning event documentation such as cGMP, cGDP, safety and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Meets with Department Managers and Leads regularly to ensure accurate training assignments for employees.
  • Conducts didactic and remedial training, along with proficiency testing as necessary, using multiple delivery methods such as computer based, web based and simulations to deliver training.
  • Coordinates on-the-job training execution and qualification evaluations.
  • Coordinates competency requirement activities to qualify Subject Matter Experts for specific disciplines at respective facility.
  • Ensure SME qualifications are maintained and are requalified as necessary.

  • Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

Qualifications


Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc

Required:

  • High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.
  • 02-04 years related experience required.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance
  • cGMP training/experience desired, training will be provided.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
