Job Summary

• This position at the Benson Hospital includes the opportunity to work in Med/Surg and be cross trained to the Emergency Room, Outpatient Infusion and Same-Day Surgery. 
• The RN provides care, within the scope of practice, to patients in the hospital setting under the direction of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
• Provides support to direct care staff and facilitates patient flow.
• Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients. The RN maintains emergency equipment and other resources needed to provide safe, high quality patient care.

Work Schedule:

• Select from 48, 60 or 72 hours per two weeks.
• All options have 12-hour shifts, rotating Day and Nights.
• Includes every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday.

Qualifications:

• Associate or higher RN degree in Nursing from accredited school of nursing required.
• RN experience preferred but not required. New Graduates welcome to apply!
• RN License from the State of Minnesota required.
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC certifications required at hire or withing 6 months of start date.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality when dealing with all internal and external customers.
• Perform duties in a manner consistent with safety principles and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards associated with the position and organization.
• Must be flexible to change and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
