Schedule: Full time, choice of 60 to 80 hours per two-week period. Monday - Friday. 8-hour varying shifts, approximately every 5th weekend, rotating holidays. No call. Thorough discussion on hours/shifts during interview process.

What you will do:

• Providing patient services by performing radiographic procedures using existing imaging equipment
• Maintain and use imaging equipment supplies necessary to demonstrate portions of the human body.
• Perform a variety of technical procedures on patients of all ages
• Apply ionizing radiation to provide diagnostic results for the purposes of patient care
• Support and implement patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
• Demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers. 
• Exercises professionalism and apply principles of radiation protection in the performance of such procedures.
• Provides essential patient care within established principles and guidelines. 

What you need:

• High School Diploma or GED graduate required.
• Associate Degree or bachelor's degree completion of an approved school of Radiologic Technology- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required. 
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certified or ARRT eligible, must be certified within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified required per established policy.
• 2 years' work-related skill or experience preferred, but new graduates welcome to apply! 
• Must be able to respond to on-call situations. 
• Knowledgeable of life support measures.

Hiring Incentives:

• To be eligible for the sign-on bonus and relocation bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position.
• Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
• Restrictions apply to relocation bonus. To qualify for the relocation bonus, the candidate must live at least 50 miles away from hired location and relocate within 30 miles of primary work location.
