Find your purpose as a Nursing Assistant at CentraCare Neurology Clinics. Work with a team of amazing healthcare professionals.

In this role, you will provide patient focused rooming for all types of clinic visits, communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers, and assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently. You will also be assisting the patient care team in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established policies and procedures and unit standards to provide quality patient care, supporting and implementing patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate, and supporting Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with coworkers.

Additional duties that may be assigned include:

• Stocking exam rooms
• Assisting with in-clinic procedures
• Completing patient paperwork
• Prepping patient charts for upcoming visits 

Hours:

• Casual, 16 hours per 4 weeks. 
• 7am to 5pm Monday-Friday; Schedule based on availability and department staffing needs

Requirements:

• Proof of successful completion of Nursing Assistant training program, or experience as a Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, or Health/Hospice Aide. 
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills and strong communication skills 
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider. 
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) completed within one year of hire.
