HOURS:

• 56 Hours Every Two Weeks. (Part Time)
• Shifts will be during the week, Monday-Friday various days from 7am - 3:30pm.
• Weekends and Holidays scheduling will be Every Other.

WAGES & BENEFITS:

• Hourly Union Rates begin at $15.38/hour but may increase with experience in this field.
• Part Time Benefits are available for this position.

JOB SUMMARY:

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in an assigned area as specified by a work schedule. This will be accomplished by utilization of a seven-step cleaning procedure. Housekeeper has daily direct contact with patients, and must have a good diplomacy with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

• High school preferred; must be able to read and write English.
• Must have basic math knowledge and able to follow instructions.
• Knowledgeable about housekeeping procedures/techniques.
• Will be trained on the job.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience helpful but not required.

This is a Union position, and you will be required to join the AFSCME 3296 Union within 30 days from start.
