JOB SUMMARY:

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in an assigned area as specified by a work schedule. This will be accomplished by utilization of a seven-step cleaning procedure. Housekeeper has daily direct contact with patients, and must have a good diplomacy with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

HOURS:

• 80 Hours Every Two Weeks.
• EVENING Shifts will be during the week, Monday-Friday from 3pm - 11:30pm.
• Weekends and Holidays scheduling will be Every Other weekend and the hours will flip (only on the weekends) to the day shift, 7a-3:30p.

WAGES:

• Hourly rate of pay starts at $15.38/hr. but may climb depending on experience.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

• High school preferred; must be able to read and write English.
• Must have basic math knowledge and able to follow instructions.
• Knowledgeable about housekeeping procedures/techniques.
• Will be trained on the job.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience helpful but not required.

This is a Union position, and you will be required to join the AFSCME 3296 Union within 30 days from start.
