As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for Medical Unit 1, you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care.
Schedule - 36-48 hours per 2-week pay period. Rotating day/evening weekday shifts; 6am-2:30pm & 6am-8:30pm, every 4th weekend 6:45am-7:15pm, rotating holidays
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required.
- One year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
