1 Certified Athletic Trainer Job in Willmar, MN
CentraCare is Hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer Near Willmar, MN
80 hours every 2 weeks | Various hours to cover sporting events at high schools, colleges, and semi-pro teams.
Responsible to assist in carrying out patient related treatments which are predetermined for each patient and assigned by the professional physical therapist. They will also engage in athletic training at local high school and college settings.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree Athletic Training approved by the National Athletic Trainers Association
- passed a practical and written exam determined by NATA
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- registered by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years Athletic Trainer preferred.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to deal with continual emergent demands
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to deal with people in a tactful and courteous manner.
- Knowledge of physical therapy machine operation, maintenance and repairs.
- Computer systems.
- Must have current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology.
