We are looking to add a full-time psychotherapy team member (60 or 72 hours every two weeks)! Enjoy the flexibility of 12-hour shifts (or open to discuss); additional compensation awarded for evening and weekend hours (weekends consist of every third Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

$6,000 sign-on bonus* for those hired into a Psychotherapist role (with current MN license of LP, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC)!

EmPATH is a dedicated healing environment separate from the emergency department, staffed with a multidisciplinary psychiatric team providing Emergency, Psychiatric, Assessment, Treatment, and Healing to those initially presenting to emergency rooms with mental health urgencies. Interested applicants should prefer working in a dynamic, team oriented, fast paced environment providing psychotherapy intervention to patients with acute mental health urgencies in an Observation setting. Applicants will also appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with our EmPATH team and various community partners involved in developing Community Treatment plans.

PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related Human Services field required.

State of Minnesota licensure required, need to have one of the following:

The Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) or the Board of Social Work at Independent Clinical level (LICSW) or the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or the Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

Minimum of one-year experience required.

ASSOCIATE PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related Human Services field required.

State of Minnesota licensure required, need to have one of the following:

The Board of Social Work as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy as a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) or the Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Full MN licensure (LP, LICSW, LMFT or LPCC) for independent practice is required within 5 years.

Clinical internship experience relevant to the position is preferred.

Requires successful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention initial and on-going training (or equivalent) provided.
