*Job Description:*
The _*Nursing*__*Director, Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab*_is responsible for leadership, direction, and coordination of day-to-day activities in Lynchburg General Hospital and Virginia Baptist Hospital for cardiology surgical services departments, to include: *Vascular Surgical Service Lines (cardiac catheterization laboratories, interventional radiology laboratories, pre- and post- catheterization lab care, non-invasive cardiac imaging, perfusion, electrophysiology, Cardiac Pavilion and ECG services)*.The Director of Endovascular Services participates in developing and implementing operational plans to operate the hospital-based units/departments that support the cardiology surgical service lines. The Director participates in developing and implementing unit budgets, performance improvement activities, staffing plans, recruitment and retention efforts and standards of patient care. The Director of Endovascular Services promotes the use of evidence-based practice to guide clinical care and decisions and lives by the Forces of Magnetism (day-to-day activities that promote Centra's Magnet Culture of Staff Recognition and Retention).
*Requirements:*
· *Required* Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Health related field. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business, or related field.
· Preferred Education: MSN or currently enrolled in program.
· *Required* Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in nursing or healthcare-related leadership experience.
· *Required* Certification & Licensures: Hold a current, active license as a *registered nurse* in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse.
