This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive individual with a strong background in customer service and/or sales. As an Administrative Coordinator – Customer Service, you will play a crucial role in managing daily office tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting some sales initiatives. You will be responsible for promoting company values and interacting daily with our customers. The ideal candidate will handle our incoming phone calls and our internet leads generated by our website and will have the opportunity to oversee the sales process from start to finish.

The right person should have a successful track record working in customer service in the home service industry and feel motivated to build trust and educate our customers in the process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the Administrative Coordinator – Customer Service role, the key aspects of your role will include (may not be limited to):

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone and in-person interactions, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Assist in maintaining customer relationships through effective follow-ups and communication strategies.
  • Follow up on pre-generated prospects and upselling by building trust and providing relevant information to support their decision.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers to identify upselling opportunities.
  • Handle inbound calls from customers to confirm their moving date, change dates, make changes to their inventory, collect their deposits and payments at the end of the jobs.
  • Keep records of all steps of the sales process in our CRM software.
  • Receive and coordinate the delivery of items sent from our designers via carriers, such as FedEx, ensuring timely and accurate handling of shipments.
  • Manage and monitor the CEO’s emails and phone calls, efficiently handling communications and prioritizing urgent matters.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, etc.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer service roles or sales.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or similar is required and may be tested.
  • Tech-savvy is highly desirable, with the ability to transition seamlessly from phone to video, to email, etc.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills - Bilingual is a plus.
  • High integrity and dependability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience with the moving industry is not required, but it is a plus.
