Centers Health Care is seeking a superintendent for our office building located in Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have 5 years superintendent experience and be extremely reliable.

DUTIES and REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a high energy individual 
• Needs to have a positive, happy demeanor
• Handyman work – general handy-work: replacing light switches and fixtures, troubleshooting bathroom fixtures, assembling new office furniture
• Need to be able to lift heavy boxes and materials and transport them
• Need to be able to work long days, able to regularly be in very early and/or stay late if necessary
• Needs to have a positive, happy demeanor
• Porter work – bringing packages and equipment around the building
• Taking inventory and recording what stock to order, checking deliveries and stocking shelves
• Snow clearing in the winter both with a plow and by shoveling
• Ability to use carpet cleaner and floor buffer machine
• Setting up rooms for meetings, events, and cleaning afterwards
• Need to be reliable enough to make your way over to the building no matter the weather conditions outside
• English-speaking is a must, and being bilingual is a plus
• Should be able to understand and follow directions and be able to voice any issues with the building as soon as they arise
• Should be able to address and clean any mess that may arise in the building, no matter the nature
• Should be available to assist outside parties for a variety of reason.
• Assist with parking when necessary.
• Run errands as they arise
• Help deliverymen into the building and assist with lifting materials and offering direction
