MajorDuties
As a Supervisory Research Health Scientist, you will: Participate with the Division Director and fully shares, as an alter ego deputy, in the responsibility for planning, developing, evaluating, and managing the programs of the Division. Serve as an advisor and assists the Director on policies, activities, and operations in the overall scientific and technical management of the Divisions research program. Review contract procurement documents, grant proposals and interagency agreements for scientific merit, and ensures adequate monitoring of assigned or developed outside research activities to provide for the satisfactory scientific guidance and completion of such activities. Formulate, develop, and direct complex scientific programs of active research to reduce a wide variety of occupational safety hazards and to identify, reduce, and prevent work-related injuries and deaths across all industries.
