Start date for the position would be on or before May 8th. This position consists of assisting customers with fishing occasionally as well as mainly selling water garden supplies and time in the field installing and servicing ponds. Ability for good customer service interaction required.

This position is fast paced and includes:

Learn water gardening terms, names of fish & plants, basic pond ecology

Assist and answer customer questions.

Sell fish, plants, and pond supplies

Grow and package plants and fish

Assist with pond installations & pond servicing including lifting rocks and cleaning pond muck

Use cash register and collect payments

Stock or organize goods

Assist individuals with loading purchases.

Clean rooms or work areas

Assist with construction/displays as needed.

Assist with all fishing aspects including fish cleaning

Guide and direct seasonal employees

Perform opening and closing procedures at store

Schedule fishing parties and pond services

Must be able to lift 80 lbs. Past operation of skid loader and forklift a plus.

We are family owned and have installed hundreds of water features and assisted thousands of customers with their pond supply needs. We have real world experience with all types of ponds and pond products. The water garden sales and services revenue allows us to offer fishing and environmental education services to our community.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 38 per week
