Position Overview:

As an LPN with Louisiana Nurse Staffing, your role will involve a variety of essential tasks aimed at delivering exceptional patient care:

Patient-Centered Care: You will be responsible for planning and managing patient care, tailoring it to each patient's specific needs.

Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct interviews to collect patients' medical histories and assess their physical conditions. Obtain vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.

Routine Patient Care: Provide essential care and support, ensuring patients are comfortable and their needs are met.

Health Monitoring: Continuously observe patients' health and promptly report any changes.

Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical charts to facilitate effective patient care.

Patient Assistance: Accompany patients to their rooms, assist physicians and registered nurses, and communicate effectively with patients and their families.

Diagnostic Procedures: Perform standard diagnostic procedures such as EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.

Lab Support: Prepare specimens for lab courier services.

Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.

Wound Care: Offer wound care as needed.

Injections and Enemas: Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas as directed by healthcare providers.

Patient Comfort: Assist with ensuring patients' comfort and monitor catheters.

Qualifications:
