Welcome to St. Martha Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare! Our 120-bed facility, provides a warm and caring environment for short-term rehab patients, and long- term residents including memory care. Our team of seasoned staff work together to offer excellent service and care to each resident.

The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day housekeeping & laundry service operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the housekeeping, laundry and floor care staff at the center according to policies and procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Provides leadership, support and coordination to ensure the quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.
• Maintains records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel and equipment.
• Training, quality control and in-servicing staff

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Long term care experience- preferred
• Two years of direct food service operational management experience in fine dining settings, with inventory and purchasing knowledge
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
