POSITION SUMMARY: Ensures that menus are produced, maintain, and completed in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assist in establishing food service production line to ensure that meals are prepared on time and presented appropriately.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND STANDARDS
1. Follows diet sheets orders.
2. Makes diet changes on patient
3. Updates patient diet changes.
4. Makes diet changes on patient cardex, notebook and computer.
5. Is courteous when answering phone calls.
6. Assigns seats in the resident’s dining room.
7. Makes necessary adjustments.
8. Type memos and letters for the department, takes any substitutions of meal and meal refusals over the phone.
9. Communicates with FSD, Assistant Food Service Director, Supervisors & Dietitians.
10. Is responsible for entering any invoices for deliveries.
11. Prints residents diet labels, and prepares special assignments.
12. Updates hydration lists, diet sheets, nourishment lists, and weekly menu.
