Cashier/Food Service

In search of customer oriented, reliable, success driven individuals to join our team at Sweet Pea's Convenience Store. We are now hiring cashiers and food service employees.

Sweet Pea's is a locally owned and operated gas station/convenience store chain with stores located in Beaver, Allegheny and Fayette Counties.

Cashiers responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide excellent customer experiences
• Maintain a neat and clean store
• Perform critical counts
• Cash handling
• Suggestive sell beer/wine specials, in-store promotions, food service promotions, and Marathon loyalty program
• Process lottery transactions accurately and efficiently
• Perform daily cleanliness tasks assigned by management team
• Follow company's guidelines and procedures
• Work as a team!

Food Service responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide excellent customer experiences
• Maintain a neat and clean store
• Cash handling
• Suggestive sell food service promotions, beer/wine specials, and in-store promotions
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures
• Consistently serve a quality product to customers
• Perform daily cleanliness tasks assigned by management team
• Follow company guidelines and procedures
• Work as a team!

Qualifications

• The following experience is beneficial, but not required:
  • Retail/Customer service 
  • Food service
  • Beer and Wine 
• Must be able to stand, bend, and kneel continuously throughout shift
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 49lbs
