The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting for a Vehicle Testing Center Support position to work in the grant-adminstered Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program (55 years of age or older) at the EPA Facility in Ann Arbor, MI.

Role and Responsibilities: The primary duties for this position are to conduct test packet audits and pre-test reviews to verify vehicle emissions test procedure quality compliance. Effective issue resolution will require learning about the testing process. Some data will be online and require some comfort in using computer applications and interacting with other team members to resolve identified issues. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform test packet audits, including resolution of identified issues.
• Perform pre-test reviews to reconcile test requests to test packets.
• Learn and back-up test scheduling office functions: vehicle inspections, packet assembly, test scheduling, etc.
• Provide test support assistance, connecting equipment, weighing or transporting samples, vehicle set-up, etc.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and a citizen of the United States; able to pass a Federal Background check; High School graduate or equivalent; experience in quality or testing; proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally; possess a positive attitude.

Hours & Compensation: Part-time position working 16 - 24 hours per week @ $16:20 per hour with generous vacation/sick/holiday leave.
