Center for Workforce Inclusion is Hiring a Partnerships Coordinator - NPS Program Near Washington, DC

The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting for a Partnership Coordinator position within the Experience Service Program (ESP) that provides support to the United States Department of the InteriorNational Capital Parks-East in Washington, DC.

Role and Responsibilities

This position supports the Park's Partnerships, Volunteer and Youth programs office in coordinating partner management tasks, meetings, requests, tracking and monitoring of programs and events.

  • Working with and supporting the Sr. Manager for Partnerships. Coordinate all partner and partner related internal meetings, preparing agendas, capturing meeting notes, tracking NPS/partner action items/deliverables. 
  • Maintain partnership and donor recognition tracker and follow up with Sr. Manager and NPS team members to ensure momentum and progress. Update and maintain park/department priorities list. Maintain partnership data and grant reporting.
  • Coordinate "People, Park, Partner" initiatives annual convening, annual report, tracking partner and park accomplishments as they are achieved.
  • Performs and supports cradle-to-grave administration including pre-award, award, post-award, and close-out functions in support of various financial assistance programs involving both discretionary and mandatory funding with various legal authorities, statutory requirements and various recipients including non-profits, educational, tribal entities, and local and state governments.
  • Prepare and draft correspondence such as letters, e-mails and internal memos related to partners and donors.
  • Maintains spreadsheets and tracking systems using various programs including Excel, OneDrive, and SharePoint to file and track various partnership documents. Documents to track and file include partnership agreements with attachments, annual workplans, donation documentation, thank you letters, partner annual reports and financial documentation, and donor recognition plans.
  • May perform other duties required to support the operation of the division

Qualifications and Education Requirements: Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States; able to pass a Federal Background check; College degree or equivalent professional experience 1 –3 years of program support, administrative, or similar work experience. c preservation, planning, and cultural resources or relevant experience. Knowledge of MS Office Suite. Excellent communication skills and interact well with people from all areas within the agency. Experience in an administrative or coordinator role, or other relevant position. Tech savvy and proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, Zoom, SharePoint, MS/Google Forms. Comfortability engaging with and preparing materials for multi-disciplinary teams, senior staff, and organization leadership. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. Flexibility, a "team" attitude, and a sense of humor. Personal passion for our national parks highly encouraged. Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Hours & CompensationPart-Time position working 24 hours per week @ $25 per hour 6–12-month project
