The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting for a GIS Specialist position to work in the grant-administered US Forest Service ACES Program (55 years of age or older) at the Chippewa National Forest, Supervisors Office in Cass Lake, Minnesota.
Role and Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the position is to support mobile technology and field data collection implementation on Forest, support for web mapping work, and support for project planning. Duties include but are not limited to performing the following:
Qualifications and Education Requirements: Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States; possess a BA/BS in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Agronomy or related field of study; 15 years of experience in a related field; knowledge of the Forest Service Natural Resource Manager (NRM) information system and Forest Service implementation of ArcPro and ArcGIS OnLine in the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment, and knowledge of the Forest Service Distributed Filing;
Hours & Compensation: Part-time position working 16 hours per week @ $42.00 per hour.
