About the Role
CPTE in Merrimack, NH is experiencing exciting growth and has an immediate opening for Physical Therapist with a passion for outpatient ortho and sports medicine. In this role, you will work alongside the Director of Sports Medicine, providing quality, evidence-based, and individualized plans of care that include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to help patients achieve optimal recovery and well-being. Your patient caseload will be primarily a mix of general orthopedics, pre and post op care, and sports-related injuries.
Your Typical Day
- Provide direct patient care, evaluate functional needs and outcomes, review patients’ functional needs, and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Design and implement plans of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development. Plans will include but are not limited to manual therapy, neuromuscular training, modalities, education, and functional rehabilitation. You will have the opportunity to utilize innovate treatment method including dry needling, blood flow restriction, and others to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Create fitness and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs and promote patient’s healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Document patient care services via EMR and in accordance with APTA defensible documentation guidelines.

About You
- Graduate of a CAPTE accredited school of physical therapy
- Active or pending state license to practice physical therapy
- Experience or interest in a geriatric physical therapy setting
- Passion for delivering quality, evidence-based patient care
- Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage and interact positively with a diverse patient population of all ages
- Drive to continually learn and grow
