Center for Personal Development INC is Hiring a Direct Service Worker (DSW) Near Monroe, LA
Provide quality, home-based caregiving for persons with disabilities in the Monroe/Region 8 area. Assist recipients in the program with the activities of daily living such as: eating, dressing, bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, medication reminders, meal preparation and cooking, and accompany recipients to most of their routine doctor's appointments. Must be willing to undergo criminal background check and have an active cellphone for LASRS/electronic clocking in and out from given jobsite. Must be able to properly fill out state issued form in order to document services rendered at work location. Must be willing to complete 40 hours of training provided by the employer.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $9.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

- Day Shift (Preferred)
- Night Shift (Preferred)
- Overnight Shift (Preferred)
