Salary: Starting at $22.80

CET is hiring a key member of the PMO team to analyze substantial amounts of data and derive insights that support and guide optimal project or program performance. The Project Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support for various projects or programs, assisting in budget, financial and project performance analysis, and providing recommendations for improvements and status reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Functions: 

  • Project Delivery: Works closely with the Project or Program Managers (PMs), contributes to project planning, budgeting, and overall strategy. Monitors and evaluates project performance using established key performance indicators. Maintains knowledge of contract delivery terms for each project. Provides operational support such as consulting with stakeholders, tracking timelines, and other assistance as needed. Prepares, reviews, and maintains project documentation and reports.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzes project data and produces insights to optimize performance. Assists in establishing key performance indicators to monitor project and program performance. Identifies shortfalls and makes recommendations for solutions. Tracks, forecasts, and updates information on project progress including metrics and challenges. Prepares documentation and utilizes the appropriate methods to provide data visualization for improved decision-making. 

Secondary Functions: 

Travel throughout MA and other states, as needed. Attends industry-specific events and conferences, where appropriate. Maintains membership in appropriate industry associations and maintains ongoing professional development.

What You Offer

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or computer science, or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with and reporting on complex data.
  • A mastery in MS Office applications such as Excel, Visio, and Projects, and/or other data analysis software. 
  • Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Experience in NetSuite or other ERP required with experience in dashboard and/or reporting apps (Apsona, Conga, Tableau).
  • Experience facilitating effective meetings with an understanding of cross-functional team structure and processes. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage conflict and decision-making processes to optimize outcomes.
  • A foundation and understanding of project management and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, research, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Physical Demands/Conditions Requirements:
Must have remote office set-up with reliable high-speed internet free from distractions and interruptions.

Daily physical requirements may include but are not limited to the following: Walking, sitting, standing, keying, repetitive movements
