Center for Disability Services is Hiring a Teaching Assistant-Summer School-2022-Schenectady Near Schenectady, NY
Come join our Summer School Program as a Teaching Assistant! This is a temporary seasonal position , Mon-Fri 8:00am-3:00pm from July 11th-August 19th. ( Orientation will be July 7th and July 8th )
Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher with activities designed to address student’s needs as outlined on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Duties may include preparing classroom materials, direct instruction of students, and custodial care of students.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma/GED required; college credits preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
