Looking to make a difference? We are searching for Direct Support Professionals to join our Day Services Team. Together, we empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through meaningful and engaging opportunities and activities both onsite and in the community.
Day Program Counselor: Monday-Friday Daytime Hours, No weekends or Major Holidays - Western Ave-Without Walls
Day Habilitation Services are designed to increase independence for people with disabilities through community inclusion, volunteering, activities and daily life skills. Provide personal care to individuals with disabilities. Assist with goals and activities both in a classroom setting and out in the community.
High School diploma or equivalent is required. NYS Driving License in good standing may be required in some programs. 1 year of job related experience preferred, specifically working with people with developmental disabilities or related field. Must be at least 18 years old and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to apply for this
position.
The compensation range for this position is $17.34 to $18.39. Rate of pay is commensurate on experience. 

In this role, you may be eligible to receive the New York State funded Health Care Worker Bonus.
