Job Description

Centennial Lending is a growing organization and is recruiting for a Commercial Loan Assistant. This position is responsible for assisting and performing administrative functions as it relates to commercial loans. Training and daily work will be performed onsite at our Firestone, CO location.

Job Duties

• Assist the commercial department with preparing commitment letters, ordering appraisals, evidence of insurance, title commitments, flood certificates, etc.
• Assist the commercial department with setting up, compiling, and organizing loan files.
• Compile and distribute the pipeline report to internal staff, loan committee and participating credit unions.
• Track and follow-up on post-closing items such as final title policies and recorded documents. Review items for accuracy and request updates or corrections as necessary.
• File necessary post-close documentation with the appropriate counties.
• Process and execute releases for paid in full loans.
• Review post-closing loan files for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with setting up, tracking and compiling annual reviews for approval.
• Assist the commercial department with HMDA Reporting.
• Assist the commercial department with processing and quality control of denied/withdrawn files.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative/clerical experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of financial/lending experience preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Proficient in the use of personal computers, word processing, email, spreadsheets and other related applications
• Must be self-motivated and work independently to manage workflow, deadlines, and reporting
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate verbally and in writing
• Respond professionally and resolve inquiries and complaints in a timely manner
• Concurrently manage multiple time sensitive projects and duties
• Define problems, collect data, and resolve issues
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common, technical, and industry specific documents

Pay: $19.50 - $23.00 per hour
