Office Assistant -Insurance - Commercial & Personal Lines

We are seeking an Insurance Office Assistant to grow with us. The ideal candidate would have 1-3 years’ experience in personal and commercial insurance, a current Colorado Property and Casualty License, and knowledge of our agency management system, Applied Epic.

We are willing to consider training and assisting the right candidate with getting licensed if you have the office experience needed. This position is a great career opportunity and has strong income potential.

Responsibilities:

• Answering and Directing phone calls
• Deliver our communication and retention plan
• Handling daily mail
• Processing Certificates of Insurance
• Working with Commercial and Personal Lines Carriers Websites:
• Processing policy change requests and endorsements
• Processing renewals and New business proposals
• Processing downloads from Carriers

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years experience in commercial and personal lines insurance
• 3-5 years of office experience
• Strong Problem Solving and Communication skills are needed
• Skilled in email-communication and making phone calls
• A COLORADO PROPERTY & CASUALTY LICENSE but not required to start
• Applied EPIC Agency Management systems experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
