Assembler

We are pleased to recruit for a company whose corporate purpose is to create chemistry for a sustainable future and has been doing so for 150 years. Their portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products and crop protection products to oil and gas. Their products and solutions contribute to conserving resources, ensuring nutrition and improving quality of life. Our client is expanding and seeking an Assembler in Chelmsford, MA.

Responsibilities:

· Performs fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity.

· Duties include installation of connectors, substrates, components and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing using paste and sheet epoxies.

· Performs disassembly, assembly, modification, rework and repair operations on various pre-production subassemblies, assemblies and complete systems that utilize integrated circuit technology.

· Performs the above operations after the units have been rejected by testing and are sent back with test failure sheets, isolating the problem area.

· Plans work sequence by assessing available work in progress to meet schedule requirements. Utilizes measurement equipment (e.g. reticle, drop indicator, etc) to check parameters during and after work to assure that the unit conforms to specifications.

· Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot product to specifications. Works independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly

· Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers and other similar tools; Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination

· Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities

· Ability to work in a diverse team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming and communication skills

· Secret Security Clearance

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property

Education: High School Diploma required

Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $25.00 – 31.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Work Schedule: Onsite; Second Shift Hours 3:00pm to 1:30am
