As a Personal Care Aide, you play a vital role by working directing with your assigned child to apply their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives to foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment. Join our team today!

Compensation

• This is a part-time position.
• Paid hourly at $13.79

Location

• CenClear’s Preschool Center located in Hyde, PA 15857
• Position working Tuesday-Friday 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
• This position works approximately 175-180 days a year (primarily during the school year).

Responsibilities

• Work with children aged 3 to 5
• Help implement IEP goals and objectives for children
• Adapt classroom settings to accommodate individual needs
• Support children in the classroom to ensure a positive learning environment
• Encourage and teach independence and self-help skills
• Escort children to and from the classroom
• Completes and submits paperwork within the required timeframes

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience working with young children
• Documented good physical health
• Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate

Physical Requirements

• Reach overhead.
• Lift and carry objects over fifty (50) pounds.
• Stand for extended periods of time with reasonable breaks.
• Walk and stand for periods of over one hour.
• Climb stairs.
• Stoop to move objects.
• Bend to reach objects from the floor.
• Use sweeper and other cleaning apparatus (push and pull).
• Operate a motor vehicle.
• Climb ladders and steps.
• Operate power equipment according to guidelines.
• Vision and hearing within normal limits.
