CenClear is hiring! CenClear, a provider of Early Head Start (EHS) services, is seeking a dedicated Maternal Health Specialist to oversee the implementation of health and safety policies within the EHS program and supporting families within program in the same aspects within the home. This role involves promoting the following: healthy prenatal outcomes, appropriate development of young children, and healthy family functioning. As a Maternal Health Specialist, you will also be involved in management of process, planning, facilitation, coordination, evaluation, and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual’s and family’s comprehensive needs. This position may have access to a company vehicle due to daily travel. Compensation for time and mileage occurs based on the reimbursement policy. Hours

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $39,600-$50,600annually.
Qualifications
RN, LPN or related degree with experience in prenatal and pediatric health
Oral and written communication skills
Organizational skills
Ability to network/collaborate with team members
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks
Knowledge of Early Head Start regulations
Knowledge of early childhood development & pre/post-natal care
Basic computer knowledge
Willingness to work primarily in the homes of families residing in high-risk communities
Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate.
Responsibilities
Service Provision
Completes Pregnant Mother (PM) intake with home visit to set duration/frequency of visits
Completes PM Intake and Health Screening Forms for all enrolled Pregnant Mothers
Once baby is born completes new baby home visit within 2 weeks of delivery
Completes all paperwork and screenings required based on performance standards
Provides Parent Education session either through trainings or socializations to increase parent understanding
Review screening results and provide training and/or referrals as needed
Staff Development
Complete initial and ongoing trainings for EHS Home Visitors on the most updated policies regarding health/safety/nutrition practices
Utilizes Program Information Report (PIR) and family outcomes to help support trainings and proper resources trainings annually to EHS Home Visitors (HV)
Compliance/Collaboration
Monitor compliance for all EHS participants in the various performance standards around health/medical needs.
Monitor compliance for all EHS health screenings
Collaborate with local health & dental providers to enhance community partnerships
Collaborate with agencies to continue to properly have up to date hearing & vision equipment
Collaborate with local agencies who serve prenatal population such as OBGYN, WIC, Nursing Partnership etc.
Professional Development
Maintain knowledge of Head Start/EHS Performance Standards
Attend all internal trainings as requested.
Participate in staff meetings as scheduled
Maintain credentials
Practice open communication and democracy while providing suggestions/feedback concerning department and agency function
Miscellaneous
Complete 7.5 hours of PR activities annually
Participate in the Safety Committee and/or other leadership committees within the agency

About The ProgramCenClear’s Early Head Start program offers weekly home visits to pregnant women and children up to age 3. The Home Visitor and parent/primary caregiver develop a plan together that will help the child learn through daily parent-child interactions within the home environment. In addition, the Home Visitor helps to connect the family to information, support, and make connections to community resources. Group socializations, made up of small groups of children, parents and their Home Visitors, are offered at least two times per month. Transportation is available. This is a federally funded program, provided at no-cost to families with pregnant women, infants and toddlers up to age 3.
