The position is responsible, along with other team members, to maintain and enhance CenCal Health’s Informatics and Analysis Systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work with CenCal staff and data analysts to analyze, design and implement customer-focused analytical software; to create and maintain infrastructure software that supports such analytical tools
• To assist in the design, development and implementation of CenCal Health’s EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) and other enterprise information systems
• Designs and implements system software for EDI data processing; creates and maintains ETL software to collect and distribute data from disparate data sources in support of production operations, EDW data collection and external customers and vendors
• Promotes, along with further efforts; standards based measures, to increase CenCal data quality and integrity
• To create analytic reports using UNIX, SQL and/or BI tools to support CenCal Health’s management team, staff and outside data consumers
• Consults with users to define and quantify data and reporting requirements
• Instruct staff in the use of business intelligence tools to independently analyze and use data to stimulate and achieve improvement
• To provide possible analytics system support on nights and weekends as needed
• Represent the IT and the Data Analysis and Informatics Team on inter-departmental project teams as required to improve organizational quality
• Planning, coding, testing and documenting system processes and workflows
• Other duties as assigned
