CEN LLC is Hiring a SBA & USDA Portfolio Manager/Credit Analyst Near Lutz, FL

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The SBA & USDA Portfolio Manager/Credit Analyst is responsible for servicing and growing the existing SBA & USDA portfolio, as well as analyzing financial data on new and existing SBA & USDA loans in the assigned regions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform annual review/credit analysis on all SBA & USDA loans assigned. This duty is performed daily, about 50% of the time.
2. Prepare credit memo and Loan Offering Memorandums (LOM) for SBA loans. This duty is performed daily, about 50% of the time.
3. Review Late Pays/Deficiency Report and work with borrower on work-outs and collections. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
4. Update the SBA Watch List for all assigned SBA & USDA loans. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time.
5. Review Colson Report and provide updates to Colson Reporting Agent in SBA Department. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time.
6. Grow current SBA Portfolio. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.
7. Review new SBA loan requests in assigned regions. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.
8. Prepare Loan Modification Requests for loan committee, SBA servicing, and secondary market. This duty is performed as needed, about 20% of the time.
9. Submit Loan Mod packages after loan committee approval to SBA for approval. This duty is performed as needed, about 20% of the time.
10. Request Release of Collateral from SBA and secondary market consultant. This duty is performed as needed, about 20% of the time.
11. Present credit memos in SBA/ELC Loan Committees. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time.
12. Prepare Liquidation package for the SBA Repurchase Guaranty Center and the Bank's attorney. This duty is performed as needed, about 10% of the time.
13. Work with SBA Liquidation Project Manager and SAD. This duty is performed as needed, about 20% of the time.
14. Prepare Form 1149 Transmittal for net proceeds from liquidation of collateral for defaulted loans. This duty is performed as needed, about 10% of the time.
15. Order 3rd party reports (appraisals) for collateral values for LTV. This duty is performed as needed, about 20% of the time.
16. Review SBA standard operating procedures (SOP) and take webinars to keep up to date on SBA SOP changes. This duty is performed annually, about 10% of the time.
17. Attend SBA & USDA Dept meetings/training. This duty is performed annually, about 10% of the time.
18. Monitor Insurances and collect updated certificates. This duty is performed as needed, about 20% of the time.
19. Work closely with SBA & USDA Dept Portfolio Managers to assign projects & tasks. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time.
20. Pull weekly reports (cash items, delinquency report) and Monitor GL Accounts. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
21. Set up Ticklers for all SBA & USDA loans for annual review reminders. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
22. Works closely with SBA examiners for annual audits. This duty is performed annually, about 20% of the time.
23. Update SBA Procedures for this role. This duty is performed as needed, about 5% of the time.
24. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
25. Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
26. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 7 years related experience and/or training, and 7 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
