Job Title: NCCCO Crane Operator

Department: Site - Northern Nevada, near Elko

Reports to: Project Manager

Out-of-State Travel Paid by the Company

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THIS JOB (Summary)

In coordination with other crew members the NCCCO Crane Operators follows job procedures and regulations to perform one of the tasks required in the Mine Project process. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of cranes to lift and move heavy objects at mine site. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate cranes of various sizes and types in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the crane to ensure proper functioning
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines
• Read and interpret load charts to determine crane capacities and lift requirements
• Maintain accurate records of crane operation, maintenance, and inspection activities
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• NCCCO Certification for crane operation
• Knowledge of crane safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and in confined spaces
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and operate crane for extended periods
• Ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders to access crane cab
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in confined spaces

• MSHA Underground Certification preferred
• Valid Drivers Certificate/License
