Cement Recruiter is Hiring a Site Manager Near Louisville, NE

Company provides environmental services to industrial and municipal waste generators by converting their byproducts into fuels and materials that can be used in the cement manufacturing process. Converting waste into alternative fuels and materials and then recycling them into cement to deliver unique zero landfill solutions to waste generators while lowering carbon footprint of our manufacturing activities and creating brighter future for our communities.What you’ll be contributing:
  • Ensures all company, state and federal safety and environmental standards are met as they pertain to alternate fuels and materials 
  • Drives local operation to maximize the use of alternative fuel and alternative raw materials. Partners with plant team to optimize quality and quantity of alternative fuels and alternative raw materials for stable kiln operation
  • Manage on site preprocessing: blending, shredding operation tire derived fuel and process engineered fuel.
  • Drives local team and contractors in respect with Purpose, Value, Vision, and Code of Business Conduct 
  • Oversees the relation with AF and ARM suppliers:
    • Plans and manages deliveries to plant. 
    • Track incoming AF, ARM shipments, and prepare weekly / monthly inventory reconciliations.
    • Track quality of services provided: 
      • to plant: on time, in full deliveries, in specs quality of the AF&ARM and invoiced correctly 
      • suppliers: on time, in full deliveries, invoiced correctly and use of AF/ARM according to signed contracts 
    • Manage out of specs deliveries
    • Acts as Point of Contact in communication between supplier and plant teams
  • Manages operating cost. Coordinates with Plant controller and controller to prepare expense budget and monthly reports for activity 
  • Assist Plant controller and controller with monthly AF and ARM billing
  • Seeks development opportunities to improve local operating conditions: safety, operating cost, logistic, environmental. Locally drives the implementation of the improvement actions
  • Play leading role in onsite ARM & AF trials. Engages with internal technical support services (MTS/GTS) and plant people in planning and executing trials for new AF/ARMs. Coordinates supply, processing and blending activity for plant trials.
  • Work closely with plant’s management team on any Management of Change processes.
  • Monitor deliveries of ARM & AF, prepare weekly / monthly inventory reconciliations.
To succeed in this position, you will need:Education/Experience
  • University Degree with strong technical background is preferred.
  • Experience working within one of the following industries is preferred: (Resource Recovery & Processing site or Industrial Manufacturing or Mining environment)
  • Demonstrated ability to see initiatives through to completion
  • Solid understanding of electrical & mechanical principles of equipment used in mineral processing
  • Solid understanding of process engineering principles
  • Proficient computer skills, including email and applications such as SAP and Excel
  • Leads for Performance – Demonstrate and foster a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals.
  • Communications – communicate with impact and create an environment in which people communicate honestly and openly. Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Analysis and Problem-Solving – Effectively examine events, issues and problems and generate optimal solutions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to give clear instructions with appropriate follow-up.
  • Organizational skills, maintaining smooth operation of Production activities and projects.
  • Physical fitness is required for effortless mobility throughout the entire plant.
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills. 
  • Adapts and Learns – Work effectively in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities and rapid change while actively developing one’s skills and capabilities.
  • Drives Change and Innovation – Champion new ideas and initiatives and create an environment that supports change and innovation.
